| Ram Dass: Fierce Grace Profoundly moving, this is the award-winning documentary about Ram Dass, by film-maker Mickey Lemle. The film has been honoured at film festivals around the world, and was named by Newsweek as one of the top five non-fiction films of 2003. The film has been crafted in a very personal style interweaving current conversations and scenes with Ram Dass, interviews with key people in his story, and remarkable archival stills and film footage. The film begins in the present, as Ram Dass deals with the effects of a massive stroke he suffered in February 1997. He demonstrates such grace and equipoise that the movie rhetorically asks the question: "How do you get to be like this?" Essentially, “Fierce Grace” is an engrossing, poignant meditation on spirituality, consciousness, healing and the unexpected grace of ageing.
